Satisfying Structures came in to being to scratch an itch and build structures that bring satisfaction to you and us. Satisfaction is the lightness of a load removed, a job well done and the freedom to move on, unencumbered, to the next thing. The structures we build are mainly in software and mostly for iOS, but they can be in other media as well. A structure can take any form, as long as it brings satisfaction in all its intended goals. We also aim for each structure to bring aesthetic pleasure, even if subtle.

Technical expertise is wielded by Torsten Louland: Writing software to run on Apple computers since 1987. Art v. science indecisivist. Dormant musician. Likes to astound non-technical people by painlessly explaining technical things they thought unfathomable (“this won’t hurt much…”).

User advocacy is augmented by Rosie Bass: Educating and leading since 1979. Alternately lusting after and loathing technology. Art lover and foody.
